Manuel Roveri:

Manuel Roveri is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electronics and Information of the Politecnico di Milano (Italy). He has been Visiting Researcher at Imperial College London (UK) in 2011.

He is a Senior Member of IEEE and an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems. In 2019, he served as the Program Chair of the famous IJCNN conference.

He is the recipient of the 2018 IEEE Computational Intelligence Magazine “Outstanding Paper Award”, of the 2016 IEEE Computational Intelligence Society “Outstanding Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems Paper Award” and the Best Regular Paper Award at the INNS Conference on Big Data 2016.

His current research activity address Machine/Deep learning for Internet-of-Things systems, learning in nonstationary/evolving environments and intelligent embedded and cyber-physical systems.

 

Albert Bifet (pending):

Albert Bifet is Professor at Data, Intelligence and Graphs (DIG) LTCI, Télécom ParisTech (France) and University of Waikato (New Zealand). His research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Science, and Machine Learning for Data Streams.

Albert Bifet is co-author of the book “Machine Learning for Data Streams” of MIT Press and co-leading the open source projects MOA Massive On-line Analysis and Apache SAMOA Scalable Advanced Massive Online Analysis.
